Director General of Assam Rifles unveils 2 MCA projects

ITANAGAR: Lt Gen Sukhdeep Sangwan, Director General Assam Rifles (DGAR), during his visit to Vijaynagar and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh inaugurated two Military Civic Action (MCA) projects for the villagers to enhance productivity of local farmers and hone technical and computer skills of local youths.

The general officer distributed six mini tractors to local farmers who were restricted to farming via traditional methods. The computer center was inaugurated at Vijaynagar to enhance the computer skills of the local youths.

While interacting with the GB and the local people, the DG assured that the Director General of Assam Rifles unveils 2 MCA projects is committed in helping out various ethnic groups in the State besides ensuring peace and tranquillity in the region. The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the efforts taken by The Assam Rifles.
