District Skill Committee discusses formulation of skill development plan

Hailakandi: A meeting of the District Skill Committee (DSC) was held to discuss the District Skill Development Plan (DSDP). Chairing a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall here on Wednesday, District Development Commissioner, FR Laskar called upon all the stakeholders to put in all efforts to creating an enabling environment in which the aspirational district can overcome the challenges and exploit its potential to the optimum level for overall skill development.

The Programme to Mainstream Aspirational Districts through Skill Development was launched by Minister of State, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Anant Kumar Hedge on October 3 last year. The programme is being implemented in 117 districts across 28 States.
