Drama festival from February 24

GUWAHATI, Feb 21: Jyotirupa, a socio-cultural organization, is going to hold its ninth Invitatiol Drama Festival from February 24 at Rabindra Bhawan in the city in memory of RG Baruah. The drama meet will conclude on February 28, said Jyotirupa general secretary ren Hazarika in a press conference today.

Hazarika said: “Jyotirupa is holding this annual drama festival every year to allure the new generation towards drama. Jyotirupa is such an organization that gives opportunities to new artistes for making their talent known. The Assamese version of Mohan Rakesh’s Hindi drama ‘Adhe Odhure’ will be staged during the festival this year.”
