Draw a roadmap, Governor asks APSC Chairman

GUWAHATI, June 18: Assam Governor PB Acharya has directed the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) to prepare a roadmap for the improvement of the existing system urgently to address issues and submit it to him. The Governor has written to APSC Chairman RK Paul regarding the functioning of APSC. The Governor said that the Institution has become the centre of controversies over its selection process which has also been reflected in the media. He added that it is high time the Commission brought transparency in the system and removed the trust deficit which the institution has been experiencing.  “Creating good governce in an institution may lead to the reputation and high respect by society,” the Governor said.
