Drinking water project constructed in Sivasagar district

Joysagar: The CRPF 149 unit constructed a public pure drinking water project in the bank of the historic Bishnu Dol of Joysagar in Sivasagar district and the project was formally inaugurated by Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner PG Jha on Monday.

The project was constructed under the CRPF’s Civic Action Programme. Sivasagar Superintendent of Police SK Sonowal and the CRPF Commandant J. B. Tusing was present as guests in the inaugural function. Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the 149 CRPF of Joysagar Camp said that operation was conducted by the CRPF 149 unit on Sunday where two miscreants were arrested from the Kanubari border area with rifles and live bullets.
