Drug peddler arrested

Bongaigaon, May 23: A drug peddler was arrested and a large quantity of drugs were seized on Tuesday night. Satya Malakar, OC Abhayapuri, said that the arrested peddler was Aminur Haque. “Few cough syrup bottle and tablets were recovered from his Fiat car (AS 01 AY 4358). Aminur said that two more persons, namely Mizanur Rahman and Zahirul Islam, were with him who fled from the spot. They were taking these tablets and bottles to Lengtisinga from Chalantapara of Bongaigaon. We registered a case and sent him to jail,” the OC said.
