Dry day declared by Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur on the day of counting of votes

Tezpur: Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur has declared dry day throughout the area of Sonitpur district under 9-Tezpur HPC in view of the day of the counting of votes on May 23, till the process of counting is over. All government licensed IMFL retail OFF/ON shops, hotel, clubs, country spirit retail shops and wholesale warehouses and IMFL wholesale warehouses in the district will remain closed on that day. It is prohibited to sell and consume any kind of intoxicants in the area during the period.
