Educationist Ramala Borah remembered

DHEKIAJULI, Feb 19: The first  president of Dhekiajuli Lekhika Samaroh, former Vice-Principal of LOKD College, Dhekiajuli, former Head of the Department of English, LOKD College and senior member of Dhekiajuli Senior Citizen Association, Ramala Borah’s first death anniversary was observed on Sunday at her residence.

 Floral  tributes was paid at her portrait  by  the teaching staff of LOKD College, Dhekiajuli, members of the Dhekiajuli Lekhika Samaroh, members of Dhekiajuli Senior Citizen Association and various dignitaries.  Ramesh Chandra Borah, senior jourlist and former headmaster of Dhekiajuli Boys’ High School and Ramala Borah’s husband, also offered floral tributes at her portrait.

On this occasion,  a  souvenir  edited  by her daughter Lu Borah Kalita was released.
