In the Arunachal Pradesh East Parliamentary Constituency, repolling will be held in 1 in 35 Pangin AC, 3 in 47 Namsai AC and 1 each in 58 Kanubari and 59 Longding – Pumao AC. The Returning Officers (RO) and Assistant Returning Officers (ARO) have been directed to take necessary arrangements for the repoll.

Addressing media persons in Nirvachan Bhawan here on Wednesday, Additional Chief Electoral Officer (ACEO) Kangki Darang said that the fresh repoll of the 19 polling stations will take place simultaneously this Saturday.

He also informed that 4 Assembly constituency of Kurung Kumey and Kra Daadi district, where polling teams were stranded due to some reasons, have not been included in the repoll list. Darang also discarded rumours on various social media platforms that the State Election Commission is being partial to the ruling BJP government in the State. “The EC is totally neutral in the State.”
