Election Violence: Bomb Blast in Pakistan Killed 132 peoples including a candidate

The major attacks in Pakistan have troubled election campaign which Killed at least 132 peoples, including a candidate on Friday. Just before the arrest of the Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on his return to the country. The attacks came before Sharif returned from London to face a 10-year prison on corruption charges, anti-corruption officials said. In the southwestern provinces of Baluchistan, a suicide bomber killed 128 people, including the candidate for Provincial Legislative. Other Four died in a strike in Pakistan's Northwest.

The Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had taken into the custody. However, it is expected that he will appeal and seek bail. In Mastung, candidate Siraj Raisani and 127 others died when a Suicide bomber blew himself up amid to score the supporters gathered at the rally. The Islamic States group has taken the responsibilities for the attacks. However, the group gave no reason for killing Raisani who was running for the election on the Baluchistan Awami Party ticket.

The United States Department strongly condemned this attacks on a political candidate and its supporters in Pakistan. United States Department said, that the attack is a cowardly attempt against the democratic rights of Pakistanis. Raisani is the brother of the former Baluchistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani. Meanwhile, Sharif arrived at Lahore from London to visit her ailing wife where Pakistan court convicted him and his daughter for corruption. Sharif's son in law is currently serving his one year prison on the same charges like Sharif. Meanwhile, Sharif has been banned from participating in the politics, his brother Shahbaz Sharif is leading his Pakistan Muslim League and its campaign for re-election on July 25. Pakistan and International Rights Groups have accused the military of seeking to maintain its influences in Pakistan politics by keeping Sharif out of power. Even the explosion targeted candidate Akram Khan Durrani, who escape safely but 20 people got injured. The attacks happened after suicide bomber dispatched by the Pakistani Taliban killed secular politician Haroon Ahmed Bilour and 20 others in the Northwest of Peshawar.
