End of a 'Marvel'lous era: Stan Lee dies at 95

Legendary writer, editor and publisher of Marvel Comics Stan Lee died at 95 on Tuesday. His awe-inspiring creations made him a legend, or more so of a superhero in himself to comic lovers across the globe.

Stan Lee began his career in the comic world in 1939 and was responsible for the creation of fantabulous comic superhero characters like Black Panther, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Mighty Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, Daredevil and Ant-Man, among countless other characters.

Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger said in a statement said that Stan Lee was as extraordinary as the characters he created. He lauded Lee saying that he was a superhero in his own right to Marvel fans around the world.

"Stan had the power to inspire, to entertain and to connect. The scale of his imagination was only exceeded by the size of his heart", said Bob.
