Excise department drive against illegal liquor sale

Sori, January 22: The Excise department along with district administration by launching a special drive has seized 80 liters of illicit liquor and 50 local illegal liquor making equipment from Garkhiabam, Kherbari, Ghorajan, Bortimon and Balikheti area here on Thursday. On receiving information about sale of illicit liquor in the villages, a team of excise staff conducted a legal search in the villages and seized the liquor and materials. To stop illegal liquor sale and transportation, the excise department has launched special drive.
