Silchar: Expenditure observer for Cachar district for the ensuing Lok Sabha polls Vikas Joshi reached Silchar on Sunday. After his arrival, Vikas Joshi took stock of the affairs related to expenditure in the run up to the polls. He also interacted with static surveillance team, flying squad and other government officials and exchanged valuable opinions. Addressing the officials, Joshi said that those engaged on poll duty must render services maintaining an impartial and transparent stance. This approach will set an example of public service before the masses. He also said that steps must be taken to record the live recordings which he can analyze and it will be disposed within 100 minutes as per electoral norms.
