Fierce gun battle between police and PDCK cadres

Hamren, July 21: A fierce gun battle took place between the police and PDCK ultras on Saturday at Bokaram Tokbi village under Dolamara police station in Karbi Anglong district. The armed cadres of PDCK were chased successfully by Karbi Anglong Police. Reportedly, high-ranking cadres of PDCK were taking shelter in the location. After the gun battle ceased, the area was searched and during search operation, one HK 33 rifle, 70 rounds ammunition, two magazines, two mobile phone, one torchlight and bag were recovered. Some senior cadres of the outfit were injured in the gun battle.
