FIR Lodged against Unruly Patient for Creating Nuisance in the Hospital

GUWAHATI: The Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) located at Panbazar lodged an FIR against one Indramuhini Pator (26) and her two friends allegedly for creating nuisance in the hospital on Monday night.

According to MMCH Superintendent Dr Madhab Rajbongshi, Indramuhini Pator, a law student visited the hospital asking treatment for her fever on Monday night along with two male friends. After a preliminary examination, preparation was also on to insert a saline upon Indramuhini. In the mean time, a heated argument developed between the attendants and the doctors due to a little delay on inserting the saline. Going beyond the argument, the attendants also videographed the circumstances that further disappointed the doctors.

Later, the MMCH authority lodged an FIR against the trio. Notably, the trio also lodged an FIR against MMCH. As such, two separate cases, 695/18 and 696/18 have been registered at Panbazar police station.
