Fire breaks out in Digboi

Digboi: Massive fire broke out near No.1 Borbil Thakurbari Mandir in Digboi at around 2 am today.

As per reports, several shops including two cars and one motorcycle were gutted during the fire incident.

A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire incident.

Later, two fire tenders of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) brought the situation under control.

No casualties were reported during the incident. However, properties worth lakhs of rupees gutted during the course of action.

Further investigation is on.
