Fire in Sivasagar ONGC Gelakey GGS

Joysagar: A fire broke out in a GGS of Sivasagar ONGC under Gelakey oil field of Nazira subdivision on Friday night. Sources informed that due to high pressure in the natural gas carrying iron pipe, suddenly it burst and fire broke out.

But before much damage could be caused, the ONGC fire authorities were able to extinguish the fire. In another incident, CJ Xajia's house at Benganabari village of Sonari subdivision was destroyed in a fire mishap on Friday night. Property worth about Rs 5 lakh was destroyed in the fire. The Sonari fire service department doused the flames.
