First phase tickets in Guwahati venue sold out

GUWAHATI, May 29: The first phase tickets in Guwahati venue for the forthcoming U-17 World Cup Soccer are sold out. Altogether 9 matches, including a semi fil, will be held in Guwahati and venue package tickets, which had gone for sale on May 16, were marked “sold out” in FIFA’s website.

Altogether six venues will be used to host the U-17 World Cup which will kick off on October 6. Guwahati became the second venue after Kolkata where all the tickets are sold out.In the first phase there were two types of tickets for Guwahati venue- Rs 480 and Rs 960.

It may be mentioned here that tickets to this prestigious intertiol tourment will be sold in four phases. The second phase will start from July 7 where Individual match tickets can be purchased by the soccer lovers in all categories. This offer is reserved exclusively for Visa cardholders with 50 per cent discount.
