Fleeing Drug Peddler Jumps From Fourth Floor, Dies

GUWAHATI: Iqbal Ali, a drug peddler, succumbed to the fatal injuries which he had sustained while evading arrest on Saturday night.

According to CID sources, a team of CID sleuths raided the Rehabari residence of Iqbal Ali on the night of Saturday. When Iqbal found no way out to escape his arrest, he made an abortive bid to jump on the roof of a neighbouring house from the fourth floor of the building he was staying.
