Former AMCH principal part of advisory group

Dibrugarh, June 14: In what is a moment of pride for the State and especially Dibrugarh, former Principal (in-charge) of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), Professor Faroque Uddin Ahmed has been selected to be a part of the revised National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Selected as a core independent member of the team, Ahmed replaced Dr. Dileep Mavlankar in the newly-composed team. Ahmed hails from the Seujpur area of the town, and is currently an Emeritus Professor at Integral University, Lucknow (Community Medicine).
