Former President, Advisor of Assam Sahitya Sabha Dimakuchi Resigns

Dimakuchi: Noted socialist Mahesh Chandra Sarmah, who was also the former president and advisor of Assam Sahitya Sabha (AXX) Dimakuchi Xakha, informed media persons on Monday that he wished to resign from all designations of Dimakuchi AXX Committee. He said that the AXX should be secular and non-political. It has been observed that some members of the organization were involved in politics.
