Former Tezpur MP Mani Kumar Subba passes away in New Delhi

Guwahati: Former Congress MP and senior leader of the party Mani Kumar Subba passed away in Delhi on Monday morning.

As per reports, Subba had been paralyzed after suffering a stroke earlier; he was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in New Delhi.

The former Tezpur MP was suffering from heart ailments since 2014 when he was taken ill during campaigning in that year.

It is to be noted that former MP Subba had represented the prestigious Tezpur Lok Constituency from 1998 to 2009 in the 12th Lok Sabha, 13th Lok Sabha and 14th Lok Sabha.

Veteran leader Subba was born on March 16 in the year 1958 in Darjeeling.

Meanwhile, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee senior leaders and party workers in Guwahati had prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
