Former Town Sub-Inspector Selected for Forest Award

NAGAON: The Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Wildlife and Chief Wildlife Warden have selected former Town Sub-Inspector (TSI) Jibon P Marak along with another police personnel of the district for the ‘Forest Award’ for special contribution towards the cause of conservation of forest as well as wildlife.

In an official notification issued by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Wildlife, it was stated that along with six other persons of the State, the name of TSI Marak was nominated by the department for the award. Interestingly, TSI Marak was transferred from the post just a couple of days ago by the district police authority due to an alleged conspiracy by a senior police officer of Nagaon Police Reserve.
