Foundation stone of development projects laid

Boko, April 25: Chaygaon MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed laid the foundation stone of the ICT laboratory of Krishna Ram Das (B Ed) College of Education, Chhaygaon from the untied fund of Rs 10 lakh and cultural stage of Shri Krishna Doul Dhobargaon with untied fund of Rs 7,54,000.

He also sanctioned a sum of Rs 1 lakh each for professors’ unit and hostel as well. The MLA interacted with the teachers of Chhaygaon Jatiya Vidyalaya and granted a sum of Rs 1 lakh for its development. After the programme, a public meeting was held at Chaygaon KRD College. The meeting was presided over by Baneswar Das, president of the college. In the meeting, MLA Rekibuddin Ahmed said that he was working for the development of the Chaygaon area, not for votes. He also added that he managed to get Rs 10 crore sanctioned for development of Chandika Temple and Chanda Sadagar’s merghar.
