Foundation stone of market shed laid at Rongklarbong

HAMREN, August 20: President of the Greater Diphu Bazaar Committee (GDBC) expressed his appreciation to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Tuliram Ronghang for laying the foundation stone of the new market shed at Rongklarbong. The foundation stone was laid recently for the construction of the new market shed at Rongklarbong weekly market under the Central Government sponsored scheme of the 13th Fince Commission, said Biren Rongpi, GDBC president. The weekly market was established in 2011 with effort of both GDBC and the village leaders of Rongklarbong and Hidisajir. The new market shed will help the businessmen and people in general, said the president of GDBC.
