Foundation stone of Siksha Bhavan laid

LBARI, March 16: Dr Bhupen Das, the Inspector of Schools, Baksa as well as the president of Baksa District Adhividya Parishad, formally laid the foundation stone of Siksha Bhavan at the district headquarter Mushalpur on Monday in the presence of a large number of high school teachers.

Laying the foundation stone of Siksha Bhavan, Dr Das stressed proper implementation of different programmes and schemes under secondary level education which would give a new shape to the education sector in the district. Dr Das, in the course of his speech, highlighted the contribution of three teacher organizations which have been trying with concerted efforts to build the new RCC building for high school teachers in particular. He thanked all the people and the BTC authority for their contribution in the construction of the proposed building.

Surja Kanta Kalita, the secretary of Baksa District Adhividya Parishad , explained the objective of the function.  gen Haloi, former secretary of Adhividya Parishad, Bhabani Prasad Sarma, president of Senior Citizen Association,  Khanin Ali Patgiri, secretary of BTC  coordition committee of high school teachers and other dignitaries spoke on the occasion .
