Foundation stone of Treasury office laid

Dibrugarh, Jan 20: Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner (DC) MS Manivann laid the foundation of the Rs 2.10 crore- three-storey building of the Treasury Office in the campus of the DC office on Wednesday. Work of the proposed building would be completed within two years.

Addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone, DC Manivann in his brief speech, hoped that the building after completion would help the works of the Treasury office to be more smooth and efficient.

The Executive Engineer, PWD (Buidling), Bhagawan Dev Choudhury, who graced the occasion, in his speech briefed about the various facilities to be available in the treasury building.

The programme was attended, amongst others, by ADC Anjabh Chaliha, Lakhindan Gogoi and all the staff and employees of the treasury office.

Earlier, the treasury officer Hiren Kalita spoke on the objectives of the meeting.
