Four arrested for human trafficking

gaon, May 5: gaon police on Tuesday arrested a gang accused of involvement in human trafficking.

The gang has allegedly been involved in trafficking of women for a couple of years. The arrested persons are Rahul Ansari, Firoza Ansari, Sagar Rawat and Kamala Begum. Sources said the gang was operating in the State for several years and so far they had been able to send more than 50 women to the various part of India. The police had previous information about the gang and at last gaon police arrested them from Sujuri area under Samaguri police station.
