Free Badminton Coaching Camp in Tezu

TEZU: Keeping the theme of “Catch Them Young” , a one month long free badminton coaching camp was organised at the Kalikho Pul Memorial Indoor Badminton Hall, for the children of the age group of 7-15 years. The free winter coaching camp has been organised by the Lohit District Badminton Association under the aegis of ASBA.

The state level badminton champion Gita Karki is giving coaching to the young players.

Speaking on the occasion of the inaugural function, Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Dr Mohesh Chai expressed his happiness over the organising of such camp , where the young talent get to hone and showcase their skills.

He siad that the talent of the young players need to be tapped at the young age, so that they can be coached to play at the national level.

He also said that many talented players are not able to utilize their potential due to want of right platform and proper guidance.

He further asked all the young player who all enrolled for the camp to take the maximum benefits of the said camp.

The minister also extend his thanfulness to the Sports Authority of Arunachal , for placing the State Coach Gita Karki for one long free badminton coaching camp at Tezu.

He also hoped that such free coaching camp will be held regularly in the district and many new young talent can be projected at the said camp.

Many numbers of young players got themselves enrolled for the said camp. The players including their parents were very enthusiastic for the badminton camp. The inaugural function was also attented by SP Tezu Dr D.W.Thongon, all the HODs and the public of the Tezu Town.
