Sarupathar, July 26: The Government of Assam is planning to make civil services exam aspirants ready for any challenge. The Axam Xahitya Xabha and the administration of Dhansiri subdivision organized a coaching class in the Axam Xahitya Xabha Bhavan at Sarupathar on Thursday. Moreover, the administration of Dhansiri subdivision has given its nod to a mega project in the Axam Xahitya Xabha Bhavan under which candidates will be trained for the coveted exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). Students from every nook and corner of Dhansiri subdivision can enrol for the coaching classes free of cost.
Meanwhile, the State-level Advisory Committee (SLAC) for student and youth welfare had inked a pact with the Directorate of Higher Education to launch the project in 50 colleges across Assam on February 2018. Principal of Sarupathar College, Siddhaswar Bora is very hopeful that the ambitious project would help many students, especially from the underprivileged section, to crack the UPSC and the APSC exam as well as other competitive exams.
