Gaitan returns to Atletico squad to play Gijon

Madrid, Feb 17: Midfielder Nicolas Gaitan was on Friday med in Atletico Madrid's squad for Saturday's La Liga match against Sporting Gijon after he recovered from a blow to the right foot.

Although Gaitan has not trained in the last three sessions because of the blow to his right foot, sustained last week in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-fil against Barcelo, Atletico chief coach Diego Simeone med him in the squad, reports Efe.

However, Simeone is going to miss the efforts of Alessio Cerci in a technical decision, and Diego Godin, Juanfran Torres, Tiago Mendes, Jan Oblak and Augusto Ferndez, all with injuries.
