Girls steal limelight in Jorhat

JORHAT, May 25: Girls outshone boys in the HSLC-2018 examination in Jorhat district. Girls from two private schools secured place among the top ten rank holders. Anuksha Bordoloi stood sixth in the examination from Jonaki Sangha High School scoring 588 while Angana Hazarika occupied the eight position with an aggregate of 586 marks from Don Bosco High School Baghchung. Talking to this correspondent Anuksha Bordoloi said that she would like to become an electrical engineer with the aim of enhancing power generation. On the other hand, Angana Hazarika who is presently undergoing coaching at Kota wish to study engineering in institutions like IIT while preparing for UPSC examination to become an IAS officer.
