Golaghat boy shines in tiol competition

Golaghat, Feb 2: Golaghat boy med Shahid Manjur Rahman excelled in a tiol-level competition held in New Delhi recently. Shahid, who is studying in the Guwahati campus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, participated with his team of five members at a tiol-level competition on Water Resource Magement where his project ‘Use of Perforated Tiles for Open Space Flooring to Facilitate Ground Water Recharging’ got the best project award. Shahid and his team received a trophy and Rs 2 lakh cash. They were also offered two years free masters course at the TERI University. Shahid Manjur Rahman is the eldest son of Wajidur Rahman and Farhan Sulta of Pur, Golaghat.
