Government allocates fund to educatiol institutions

Itagar, April 23: The Aruchal Pradesh government has allocated an amount of Rs 436.98 lakh to Donyi Polo Government College at Kamki, Govt Higher Secondary School and General Hospital Aalo in West Siang district.
According top priority to education and health sectors, Chief Minister Kalikho Pul yesterday allotted the fund as promised during hsi recent tour to the district, an official release said here today.
The government also allotted fund of Rs 151.31 lakh under Higher & Technical Education for re-carpeting of the approach road from Aalo to Kaying, BRTF road to Donyi Polo Government College Kamki including interl road (3.80 km) of Government College. He also allotted fund for construction of 16 units of toilet and bathrooms, 4 units each of bathroom and toilets for girls and boys hostels separately and another 4 units toilets each for both boys and girls in the academic block amounting to Rs 19.12 lakh.
Considering the urgent need of repairmen for maintence of the dilapidated conditions of boys and girls hostel of government Higher Secondary School at Aalo, the state government has allotted Rs 71.33 lakh for repair and maintence of Sipu Boys Hostel, Rs 40 lakh for repair and maintence of Siyom Boys Hostel building, Rs 51.22 lakh for repair and maintence of Moomi Girls Hostel and another Rs 37.00 lakh for repair and maintence of Nehru Memorial Govt H S Aalo.
The government also allotted Rs 67 lakh for improvement and extension of water supply at General Hospital, Govt H S and Nehru memorial School at Aalo, the release infomrmed.
The chief minister said that the fund has been allotted on need basis and after examining the ground realities during his recent visit to Aalo and after discussion with the education minister as per the provision made under Budget Estimate 2016-17.
Pul directed the executing agencies to complete the works within 2 months period so that the student could avail the benefits from the coming session onwards, the release added
