Government Urges to Approve Minimum Wage for Workers

ITANAGAR, Aug 6: The All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) in a coordination meeting held at its office premises reiterated its commitment to work for the welfare of the labour community of the State. Addressing the executive members and district heads of the Union, AAPLU president Dana Tadu said that the state advisory board on minimum wage has approved the minimum wage for the labour community and the state government needs to approve it without any delay.

On the constitution of departmental promotion committee and the timely holding of DPC meeting , he appealed to Chief Minister Pema Khandu to act swiftly so that regularization and other issues are solved for the welfare of the labour community.

He informed that as part of the coordination meeting a day-long programme on leadership training was held on Saturday, which was attended by several resource persons from various departments. All central executive members and district unit leaders attended the programme, a press release informed here today.
