Guwahati bag best team award

GUWAHATI, Feb 13: Guwahati emerged as the best team with total 158 medals including 40 Gold, 44 silver and 74 Bronze Medals in the T.G Baruah Memorial 6th Youth & Under 21 years State Karate Championship which concluded last night at Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium. Jorhat bagged the second spot with 33 medals which included 14 Gold, 9 Silver & 10 bronze. Barpeta stood third. Meanwhile Akashdeep Deka of Jorhat and Kasturika rzary of Guwahati achieved T.G Baruah memorial best Children players’ award in boys and girls section respectively. Nishad Ali of Barpeta and Enjebee Chakma of Guwahat collected the Best Youth Players in male and female category.
