GUWAHATI, May 4: Guwahati declared winner in the quarter fils tie against Tinsuka in Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket Tourment (elite) as the last day’s play was not possible because of bad weather. Guwahati earned first innings lead yesterday which ensured victory and also confirmed a berth in the semi fils. In reply to Tinsukia’s first innings total of 80 Guwahati scored 223/4 at stumps on day I yesterday. Abhijit Singha Roy, the captain of local team, scored century. Jorhat will face gaon in the second quarter fils from tomorrow.
