Hagrama holds crucial party meeting in Tamulpur

DHUBRI, August 4: BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary chaired several rounds of meeting with the BPF leaders in Tamulpur on Tuesday. The meeting comes as an important development ahead of the Assembly elections. During the meeting, Mohilary also exchanged views with the party workers in the area and appealed them to ensure victory of the party in the Assembly election. He also asked the party workers to inform the public irrespective of caste and creed, about the various initiatives being taken by his council for the development of BTAD.

Later, talking to the media, Mohilary welcomed the ga Accord between the Centre and the NSCN-IM and said that the Union government should now focus in completing the peace process with NDFB, ULFA, KLO and other outfits of the region. The BTC Chief also had a casual meeting with the TET qualified candidates of BTC and said that the council will soon extend the validity of their certificates.
