Handball player’s demise condoled

DEMOW, July 1: Pulin Gogoi (38), a national handball player, son of Dharmeswar Gogoi and a resident of Demow Kushal Path, died due to pressure stroke on Friday. He was undergoing treatment in Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), Dibrugarh. Pulin Gogoi was the former secretary of Demow Handball Club. A condolence meeting was held on Saturday where Arup Kumar Dutta, president and Manju Ali, secretary, along with the players of Demow Handball Club prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. Pulin Gogoi leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives.
