Health awareness programme held

Kaliabor, Dec 1:  A health awareness programme organized by the Department of Economics, Kaliabor College was held recently at Bamuni LP School, Bamuni of Kaliabor subdivision. The meeting held on the occasion began with an iugural speech by the president of the meeting Joy Basumatary, an assistant teacher of the school.  Prof. Debicharan Goswami of the economics department delivered the welcome speech.

Taking part as a resource person in the meeting, Dr. Dharmanda Sarma delivered a lecture on various aspects of health and hygiene among the local people as well as the students of the school. He urged all present in the meeting to be careful for maintaining good health. Dr. Sarma also interacted with the students and their parents.
