Health camp organized in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: A free video endoscopy and eye camp is being organized by the Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti, Arunachal Pradesh, in association with Tirap District Health Society from Monday at General Hospital Khonsa, the district headquarters.

The 4-day long camp is being sponsored by ECGC Ltd and will culminate on January 31, an official release informed here. Tirap SP Jitendra Kr Meena attended the inaugural day of the camp along with medical superintendent Khogen Socia.

Socia in his welcome address expressed his gratitude to the organizers and appealed to all to derive maximum benefits from the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Meena appreciated the noble move of Vivekananda Kendra and thanked the organizers. The team of medical experts include, Dr Vinay Kulkarni (gastroentrologist) and Dr Mrs Anuradha Kulkarni (anaesthesist) both from the United States, besides Dr Udayan Dikshit (eye surgeon) from Pune.
