Hellas Verona relegated to second division after loss to Milan

Rome, May 6: AC Milan outplayed Hellas Verona 4-1 in late season action in Serie A, making official Hellas's relegation to Serie B, the Italian league's second division.

With the win, AC Milan has 60 points and has provisionally leapfrogged Atalanta into sixth place in Serie A, a spot that would earn them a berth in the Europa League's second qualifying round.

Hellas, for its part, will bid farewell to Serie A just one season after earning its promotion to the top-tier league. IANS
