GUWAHATI, May 5: The Government Railway Police (GRP) have seized 85 gm heroin worth Rs 50 lakh from the Bangalore-bound Jasuwant Express at Guwahati railway station on Saturday morning. On the charge of carrying the illicit substance, the GRP also arrested one Asif Wasim (25) who was allegedly carrying the drug from Dimapur and was supposed to deliver it somewhere in Bangalore. Moreover, along with the accused, the GRP seized three cell phones from his possession. The accused carried 13 small packets altogether – 3 white packets containing 15 gm each and 10 orange packets containing 4 gm each.
