Himanta Biswa Sarma Thanks Voters For Making PM Modi Win in The Lok Sabha Elections

Guwahati: Assam Finance Minister and Convener of NEDA, Himanta Biswa Sarma today thanked the people for turning up in large numbers and voting for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after early trends showed that BJP is leading in more than 274 seats.

Himanta Biswa Sarma said that people of the country have once again chosen Prime Minister Modi as their leader and have given him a chance to lead the country. Sarma further said that people love Modi and he would personally like to thank everyone especially the people of the northeast for supporting the Prime Minister.

Sarma also said that he wants to assure the people of Northeast that Modi will again work for the development and progress of Northeast. “The opposition disrespects our civilization and has forgotten how India use to be like 5000 years ago. I assured the people that PM Modi will take the country forward in the coming years,” said Sarma.
