Himanta inspects Barsapara stadium

GUWAHATI, June 20: New president of the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Himanta Biswa Sarma today visited Barsapara cricket stadium along with the other office bearers. It was his maiden visit to the stadium after he was selected as the new president of the ACA.

Talking to The Sentinel the secretary of the ACA Pradip Buragohain said, “During this visit Sarma inspected the newly built stadium and also discussed few matters with us which are related to the development of cricket in the State. He also stressed on fast-tracking construction of the stadium in the meeting.”

Buragohain added that the next GB meeting of the ACA will be held on July 7.
