Hold talks with PCB in Kolkata, Mamata tells BCCI

Kolkata, Oct 19: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said the BCCI was welcome to hold their meeting with Pakistani cricket officials in Kolkata after Shiv Sainiks stormed the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai. The two were to discuss the fate of the bilateral series between India and Pakistan in December. "Hearing about incidents related to disruption of BCCI work in Mumbai. Cricket Board welcome to meet in Kolkata," the chief minister Tweeted. Banerjee, also the Trimool Congress (TMC) supremo, had earlier offered Kolkata as the venue for the concert of Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali after the scheduled concerts in Mumbai and Pune were cancelled following the Se's strong opposition.
