Hollande, Obama vow boosted action on terrorism

Paris, Dec 6: French President Francois Hollande and the US President Barack Obama on Saturday expressed determition to boost common efforts in a bid to combat terrorist cells after suspected followers of the Islamic State killed 14 people in California on Wednesday. During phone conversation, both leaders affirmed their determition to build strong front to face “common (terrorist) threat” by uniting efforts and resources, Hollande’s office said in a statement, Xinhua reported.

Hollande also expressed Paris’ “solidarity and emotion” after a couple stormed the Inland Regiol Centre social services agency in the city of San Berrdino last Wednesday and killed 14 people, according to media reports. (IANS)
