Hostel for working women iugurated

Dibrugarh, Feb 8:  With an aim to provide residential facility to the women working in government, semi-government, private and public sector company, a hostel located at North Eastern Buddhist Cultural Association  campus was iugurated  by Additiol Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh, Ankur Bharali at Tekela Chiring Gaon on Monday.  The iugural meeting was graced by Assistant Commissioner, who is also holding charge of District Welfare Officer, Mirza Hussain and chairman of the Child Welfare Council, Sewali Borbora. Addressing the meeting, Hussain stated, “The hostel is being iugurated along with other districts under a project of the Central Government’s Child and Women Welfare department with an aim to provide residential facility to women who hail from various places of the district and are working in office, court and other places in Dibrugarh town.” She also disclosed that the hostel would be furnished with all necessary facilities soon.
