Hotelier lodges FIR

DIPHU, February 15: Gopal Das,  a hotelier  of Durgapur (Doyangmukh) has  lodged an FIR at Kheroni police station,  alleging that Dulan Biswas, a fair price shopkeeper of Durgapur (Doyangmukh)  in  Karbi Anglong  district had  mixed  poisonous  substance  in  drinking water kept in a drum near his hotel  on the night of  February 6 in an attempt  to kill  Das, his family and customers. Das in his FIR further stated that the VDP on duty had noticed  Biswas that night near his hotel. Das further alleged that an old family feud could have made Biswas seek revenge in this way. The hotelier has now alleged that the police has yet not taken any action against Biswas.
