How to de-stress your Sundays?

Sunday. All of us, at least most of us, wait for this day for the entire week. Sunday is no more a day; it is a feeling – a feeling of happiness, a feeling of being away from stress, a feeling of spending some time with the family.

You wake up in the morning and realize there is no ‘official’ work to do. You take that extra nap you always wanted to take during the weekdays. It might be only for 10 minutes or an hour, but it feels good as you wake up fresh. And the very next moment, you think how you are going to spend the entire day, with no ‘work’ on your sheet!

So, here are a few ways to de-stress yourself this weekend.

  • Have a ‘happy’ breakfast

You can cook something that you have been waiting to eat from months. Don’t rush while eating like the other days. Savour every bite of your food and enjoy the meal!

  • Clean your ‘space’

Sunday helps you to catch up with all the housekeeping items.  Whether it is your room or your kitchen, you can only dedicate your Sundays to them!

  • Go out of your house

Although Sundays are meant for self pampering at home, you always have an option of going out for a movie or a cup of coffee. Most importantly, you don’t always need people to accompany you. Go to a nice café and chill!

  • Get into ‘shape’

Yes, it is impossible to get into shape in a day but sometimes, exercise helps you to connect the dots between your body and your soul. You can catch up on your physical fitness on your ‘happy’ Sundays!

  • Plan for the next week

Or in other words, get ready for the next week. Take the free time on your Sunday and plan for the upcoming week. By doing this, you can focus on the most important things coming up in the next seven days!
